A representative from the Governance Committee will be in contact shortly after the deadline of applications occurs.

The Governance / Nominating Committee is responsible for reviewing candidate applications, interviewing candidates to ensure they have the appropriate qualifications including desired board skill sets, and to recommend a slate of candidates to the board and membership.

Part VI: Candidate Agreement

Under Massachusetts General Laws regulating State Chartered Credit Unions; persons who work for or are Directors of another financial institution; or have been convicted of a felony; or have filed for personal bankruptcy or have failed to pay a court judgment; will not be eligible to hold the office of Director for a State Chartered Credit Union. If Board candidates meet any of these conditions, their application for HUECU Directorship will be denied. I understand that if elected to the Board, I am expected to perform all duties assigned to me and to attend all Board and Committee meetings. Failure to comply with the Director’s Attendance Policy will result in a review by the Board and may result in this Director’s seat being declared vacant.
